Q1 Productions

Web Design & Visual Identity
Q1 Productions is a conference production company in the life science industries. I was hired on and Q1 for an in-house role to refresh their brand identity and transition much of their content from print materials to web. This involved a redesign of their logo, brand guide, website, signage etc.

Event Page Redesign
At Q1 Productions, the main design challenge was creating an individual web page for each of the dozens of events they hold annually. This needed to be succinct, clean and to communicate clearly the calls to action.

About Us redesign
I worked with the client to provide some professional photographs of the team in their work element, thus enhancing the personalization of the brand.

Brand Standards Guides
I have experience building informative and useful company brand guides for both internal & external use. An editorial standards guide is also helpful for any organization that requires standardized copy writing.

Internal Branding Campaigns
The “Aspire to Inspire” campaign was a marketing push to unite the organization staff under one purpose.

Home page redesign
Home page was updated with new branding, logo, design & mobile usability.

Our Story redesign
Another element of brand personalization is the "Our Story" page which gives a look back at the company history. Pages like these are great for establishing brand personality as well as attracting potential hires.

Presentation Deck Design
I can create both internal and external presentations for a sleek & branded look for you or your clients.

Logo Design – Q1 Safeguard
I collaborated with Marketing to help solve the problem of operating during the Covid pandemic. In order to ensure event attendance, we created “Q1 Safeguard”.

Executive Leadership Support
Recent Work

Web Design & Visual Identity
For the Executive Leadership Support group, I was hired on for a brand creation for a new company. This involved the design of their logo, brand guide, website, signage etc.

Event page design
The Executive Leadership Support Forums brought together Executive Assistants from large corporations across the country. The design reflected this audience.

Event Calendar
The theme I chose for much of the website was "notebook", which exuded the hand-written, cursive urgency of an Executive Assistant's note pad.
I believe that good design = good communication.
I prioritize intuitive layouts, legible typography, and subtle color palettes to ensure every element serves a clear purpose. By stripping away the unnecessary, I create designs that are both modern and timeless, prioritizing the message we are trying to convey. I love to solve problems and perform well under pressure. I have experience in managing my own staff, working in bigger teams and also thrive in a self-starter individualized role.
Ultimately, my aesthetic is about creating visually compelling, functional designs that communicate clearly and stand the test of time.
Art direction
As Art Director for multiple projects, I oversaw the visual direction and creative execution of all projects, ensuring they align with the company’s brand identity and objectives. With a strong eye for design, I led a creative team, collaborating closely with designers, marketers, and other departments to deliver impactful, high-quality visuals.
Visual identity
Developing a company’s visual identity involves creating a cohesive and compelling visual language that reflects the brand’s values, mission, and personality. This includes designing key elements such as the logo, color palette, typography, and imagery style, all of which work together to establish a strong, recognizable presence across various platforms.
Brand experience
Developing a company’s brand experience involves shaping every touchpoint where customers interact with the brand, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and meaningful connection.
Web & print design
With over 15 years in web and print design, I have experience working with new & emerging technologies to design websites that are both beautiful and user friendly. I also have over a decade of experience working with printers around the world to create large and small format printed materials.
